2015 PDRA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS CHASE   Contestants in each of the PDRA racing classes compete for the PDRA Drag Racing Series world championship title on the basis of total points earned at PDRA national events. All classes will run by these points except the two Jr. Dragster classes which will remain the same as 2014. PDRA NATIONAL EVENTS Winner - 100 Runner-up - 80 Third-round loser - 60 Second-round loser - 40 First-round loser - 20 Additional points are awarded at national events as follows: 10 points to all contestants - one qualifying run required. 20 points for establishing an official E.T. record. Performance bonus points are awarded for each qualifying session as follows: Low e.t. of each session - 3 Second-quickest - 2 Third-quickest - 1 Except for T/S & T/D Performance bonus points WILL NOT be awarded for any session unable to be completed. Qualifying positions earn points as follows: #1 qualifier - 16 points #2 qualifier - 15 points #3 qualifier - 14 points #4 qualifier - 13 points #5 qualifier - 12 points             #6 qualifier - 11 points     #7 qualifier - 10 points     #8 qualifier - 9 points #9 qualifier - 8 points  #10 qualifier - 7 points #11 qualifier - 6 points  #12 qualifier - 5 points  #13 qualifier - 4 points  #14 qualifier - 3 points #15 qualifier - 2 points #16 qualifier - 1 point Beginning at the eighth (8th) event of the season (Galot Dragstock XII). The top 10 drivers in each PDRA class will have their points adjusted as follows: DRAGSTOCK XII “ROAD TO THE CHAMPION” First Place - 2,110 points Second Place - 2,080 points Third Place - 2,070 points Fourth Place - 2,060 points Fifth Place - 2,050 points Sixth Place - 2,040 points Seventh Place - 2,030 points Eighth Place - 2,020 points Ninth Place - 2,010 points Tenth Place - 2,000 points
