PDRA Live Feed Ramps Up in 2016
Quarter-Max Zones Return along with New Special Segments

PITTSBORO, N.C. (March 9, 2016): The creative genius behind the PDRA is continually birthing new ideas to give fans a more full-bodied experience of each event. While attending PDRA events gives fans the most dynamic experience available in professional eighth-mile drag racing, the PDRA Motor Mania Live Feed gets fans as close as possible in the comfort of their homes, on their phones, tablets, and anywhere they travel.

With more than 7 million page views in 2015 and a global audience that has reached over 200 countries, MotorManiaTV.com (MMTV) has set the standard for streaming live drag racing events in the 21st century. The PDRA teams up with MMTV to broadcast each event live - an opportunity free to fans across the globe.

Each broadcast showcases every pass made by a PDRA racer - from Top Junior Dragster all the way up to Pro Extreme. Every qualifying and elimination run can be watched in real time. At the end of the PDRA’s inaugural season Quarter-Max upped the ante by bringing fans the Quarter-Max Starting

Line and Top End Zones. These special segments deliver in-the-moment commentary straight from racers’ mouths. Fans watch firsthand as racers triumph in victory, absorb the heartbreak of defeat, and give feedback on the everyday struggles of competing in some of the toughest categories racing has to offer. The Quarter-Max Zones will return for 2016 and promise to be as candid and entertaining as ever.

"We are very proud to be a major supporter of the PDRA,” stated Quater-Max’s Rickie Jones. “At Quarter-Max we believe in the racers and the PDRA series, and we want nothing more than to see it continue to grow. As a racing family ourselves, we know the hard work that goes into every car, every race, every run. At Quarter-Max we believe it is so important to share all the hard work, all the excitement, and all the success of some of the world's most talented drag racers, LIVE with the world! We appreciate all the business from racers, and we wish everyone the best of luck and a safe 2016 race season."

In the Musi Minute presented by Musi Racing Engines, Lizzy will take fans off track and give them a behind-the-scenes look at the PDRA cast of characters. In the pits, the stands, or with officials, Lizzy will showcase the PDRA like it’s never been seen before. Musi is looking forward to her new on-camera role:

"I am pretty excited about being more involved interacting with fans! We are looking to come up with something different at every event. Everyone at Musi Racing Engines is thrilled to be on board with the PDRA this year and hoping for many more."

Andy McCoy Race Cars will present an “Ask the Pros” segment every race in which McCoy will offer an expert look at anything from chassis function to turbo performance. Each event, McCoy will choose one fan question to answer on the Live Feed. Fans can submit questions directly through a button available on the PDRA home page and members of the champion Pro Boost Pee Dee Fleet team including Russell Miller, Mike Kopchick and more will answer questions in-depth from the pits for the ultimate fan interaction.

“We are excited to participate in the PDRA this year in such an interactive way by bridging the gap between racing fans and racing teams,” stated McCoy. “The Andy McCoy Race Cars ‘Ask the Pros’ segment is something we really want to have fun with this season. It’s a creative way for us to support the PDRA and offer comprehensive tech advice to those who may not otherwise have access. The entire Pee Dee Fleet team will take part in it, so there’s nothing we can’t cover.”

In 2015, PDRA averaged 250,000 total views of each race with fans logging in from 166 countries to watch the beasts of professional eighth-mile drag racing. Fans enjoyed over 24 millions minutes of the 302 hours of original produced content last year, both during and after the event.

“We know folks enjoy the Pro Mod shows,” stated MMTV creator, Mark Walters. “It’s one of our top viewer draws. As our tagline says, ‘Keep watching... we’ll stream more!’”
